How to detect plastic rice

Because of the numerous health risks of ingesting plastic rice, its therefore expedient that we know how to differentiate between real rice and the plastic version.
There are several ways to do this and they are very easy to perform. The include but are not limited to:
1. WATER TEST: Take one glass or bowl of water and drop some rice in it, then stir. If the rice is fake, it will float at the top because the fake rice will definitely float in water as most plastics do.
2. FIRE TEST: Take rice and simply burn it. If any rice is made with plastic then it will come out with the plastic smell and most will melt.
3. MOULD TEST: Simply boil some of the rice, then just leave it like 2-3 days without refrigerating or warming it . If rice is plastic, then it will not have fungi as it will remain same.
4. BOILING TEST: Observe rice during the boiling time. If it's plastic, it will form a thick layer at the top of the pan.
These tricks are simple and easy, so you can try them at home. Plastic Rice can be found out very easily. Be careful as it can cause so many health implications, please let's be wise this yuletide season and all round.
5.HOT OIL TEST: Take some rice and drop into very hot oil. If its a plastic rice, the rice will melt and stick together under the pot or container.

Now that you know, Pass it on and save lives and money. Don't forget to comment and let your voice be heard.

MMM Nigeria
The money-box scheme called MMM that started in Russia was introduced to Nigerians via  MMM Nigeria when the country was said to be at the peak of what many described as the worst recession in Nigeria's economic history. The economic hardship and the urge to get rich quick made a lot of Nigerians to rush into it and welcomed MMM as their only way to carter for themselves in a time where the exchange rates were hitting the roofs; hence most people failed to ask themselves some very important questions.

A lot of people have complained that their account has been hacked, somebody starts posting nude pictures and malicious links on your timeline. They chat up your Facebook friends asking for financial assistance that your mom or wife or one relative is sick and needs expensive medical assistance to survive....they spam and scam with your account and on your behalf. Yes, they destroy your social and corporate image. Who told you that an app can tell who your boyfriend or spouse will be or how many kids you will have or the number of cars you will have or probably read your so called zodiac signs and tell you how fortunate you are to be born on a particular date. The only truth that you will get from those app and zodiac signs is the fact that you are vulnerable. Yes its very obvious....I don't need a malicious app or a star gazer to tell me that. Your argument might be that you do it for fun. I feel your pain oo... because you are having fun at your own peril. The fact is  that most of those Apps are loaded with malware and if you are oblivious of what that is, a 'Malware' is an umbrella term used to refer to a variety of forms of hostile or intrusive software, including computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransom-ware, spyware, adware, scareware, and other malicious programs. It can take the form of executable code, scripts, active content, and other software. There are millions of them that the antivirus can not even keep up with their evolution.
With that they can have access to your device and do what ever they wish. A lot of them are undetectable like the stealth "Keyloggers" and "The Extractors". While the Keylogger records every keystroke you make on you device and sends them to who ever it was programmed to communicate to, the "Extractor" records and transmits the content of every form you fill online. It means that it records and sends the  login details every account you have online. Which compromises your emails, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, your everything online.
The internet is a wonderful place but also very dangerous. Don't make a habit of giving third party apps permission to view your details or post to your timeline.
Think safety, browse safely.

Dear Nigerian brother,
Please and please when you meet a sister and you want her attention, do not call her over like she is your servant, she is not your servant girl and is not obligated to answer you or talk to you so don't feel offended when she ignores your rude self.
Secondly do not ask for her cellphone number like its your right, it is not. Do not give her your phone and look away like she owes you her number and don't give her your number and tell her to call you  in a demanding voice. Her number is not your right.
Thirdly dear brother, when you meet that girl that excites you and you want to get to know her better please do not invite her on a date only to quiz and interview her. She has not applied for any job, if anything, you are the one applying so develop courtesy and learn "what getting to know you" means. Do not chat her up and quiz her, if you need to know more about her don't harass her with your many prying questions.
Fourthly when you are on a first date with a sister please leave marriage out of it, the matter is now cliche' and instantly passes you off as desperate. That can be a total turn off! you don't even know her!
In addition dear bros, Don't talk about dating you or marrying you like as if it a scholarship. Soldier go soldier come, you are not a one time opportunity. Also don't go forgiving her for all her passed and unconfessed sins which she did not commit against you, then place a warning of unforgiveness for future sins. She has not even agreed to date you yet! Mbok, wake up and smell reality... the sister is probably not even considering your arrogant ass!( pardon my English).
When you tell a sister that if she agrees to date or marry you, she would have no worries or lack, know that you just handed her a blank cheque she is sure to fill and you may not like it when she does.

STEP 1:
Work comes first, and yourself second
STEP 2
go to work in the evening after supper, weekends and holidays
STEP 3
If you can not stay in the office till late take your work home
STEP 4
Never relax during a lunch break and if you can, discuss your work at every pause
STEP 5
No amusements! they are a waste of time and disturb your concentration
STEP 6
It is better to renounce your holidays rather than waste time thinking about it
STEP 7
Never refuse an invitation but put precedence to invitations to conferences and reunions.
STEP 8
Never renounce responsibilities; take everything on your shoulders because you are indispensable.

If you follow these simple 8 steps your employer will have to look for some one to replace you soon.

slavery

I was in the bank the other day, and a seemingly white guy walked in and went straight to the counter by-passing the line of waiting customers. For some reasons he came  back and sat by the side.  Five minutes later a worker came to tell him to go next after the person on the front of  the queue. This caused an uproar. A lot of us couldn't understand why he had to go  next. Why can't he join the queue? Like seriously, no dark skinned African get's treated preferentially in any white  skinned country.

We by this I mean Nigerians need to learn to love our selves the way we were created. We need to understand that there is nothing special about the fairer or white skin. we are all the same people but some how the African man especially Nigerians because I am most familiar with Nigeria, are bound in some kind of mental slavery to the white skinned person. They get excited and stare, the alter their accent for them, they are nicer to them but tend to be the opposite of all these things to their  fellow Nija person. Mehn y'all got to chill and reconsider. These people know that a lot of us Nigerians get silly around them and so they manipulate our silliness to their advantage.

Even our girls sef want to born half cast ooooo. That's why one yeye yello skinned african oyibo man want to form abrodie for me.  and am like " come of it man!"

African are created to be beautiful, elegant , proud, hard working people. we are not mean or hostile especially not to ourselves. slave trade is over. Please lets free ourselves from the mental slavery. Be proudly African. Love Africa; your skin, your hair, your culture; even your name! Stop answering funny names you can't even tell its meaning. African names are always meaningful and better than meaningless flashy names.

So basically this is a wake up call to all my African Brothers and Sisters to free themselves from every mental slavery that ties them bound to the White skinned man. This is a call to think African, walk African , Love Africa and Be African.

#proudlyAfrican

The Emir of Katsina , Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, has urged security agents to initiate strategies to eliminate illicit drugs peddling in the state.

The emir made the appeal on Monday in Katsina at a special meeting with the heads of security organisations to discuss the menace of illicit drug peddling in the state.

“It has come to the notice of the Emirate Council that several young boys, girls and women engage in the consumption of cough syrups with codeine without doctors’ prescriptions.

“The Katsina Emirate Council is worried that the future mothers of tomorrow are slowly killing themselves by taking illicit drugs,” he said.

Kabir advised parents and guardians to monitor the activities of their children and wards in order to prevent them from mixing with bad friends.

“We as the custodians of the culture and tradition of the people in Katsina, and we must do our best to make sure that youths shun drug peddling and abuse.

“I hereby call on youths to engage in skill acquisition training in order to avoid being idle, as idleness is one of the reasons for drug consumption by the youths,’’ the traditional ruler said.

Earlier , the state Commandant of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency , Hajiya Maryam Sani , said that the meeting was necessary to make plans to wipe out illicit drug trade and consumption in the state.

Sani said that state had been identified as holding the first position in the consumption and trade in illicit drugs in the North West.

She said that the command had intercepted large quantities of cannabis within the last two weeks and arrested some suspects.

Sani, who spoke on behalf of other security chiefs, said that many traders in the state had left their trades to engage in the sale of illicit drugs especially cough syrup.

Power lines

According to recent reports ,
Scores of residents of three communities on the Ibafo-Mowe axis of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway popularly referred to as “Second Lagos’’, on Monday protested what they called 10 years of power outage.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the communities were protesting the cutting off of electricity supply to their areas in the last decade.

The protesters, who converged on Punch Newspapers premises along the busy Lagos/Ibadan Expressway with some policemen on guard, also blocked part of the road at Ibafo, causing traffic jam.

The placard-carrying protesters, who had massed as early as 7.00 a.m., directed their protest at the Minister of Power, Mr Babatunde Fashola and the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBDEC) which serves the area.

Na who no like better thing? Is a common statement among many Nigerians? It’s simply amazing how so many of us say this and go ahead to act contrary to their very own statements. We like a clean and beautiful environment but will never plant a single flower or aesthetic plant. They will throw things on the ground without regards for the environment and even themselves who live in the environment. What amuses one most is howreligious we are and yet  many of us ignore the most basic of our God given responsibilities to Cather for the earth. Many believe clean environments are expensive and hence only for the rich. But this is not true

These are five things you must never do on the streets if you want a better environment.

1) Do not throw things on the Ground, hold-on  to your trash until you find a trash can.

2) Don’t pea on the road side, get to a toilet first.

3) Don't throw dirt out of moving vehicles dispose of your garbage properly

4) Do not spit all over the place. It’s a disgusting habit

5) Don’t throw things into drainage. If it gets blocked, it will come back to you in a most disgusting manner.

It actually doesn’t cost much to keep the environment clean, a change of habit does the trick!

This interview was posted by Chinasa Nworu on feb 11 at 2:09 of Facebook

You’ve got to read this Excerpt from an interview with a Jewish leader about Blacks. This message was forwarded to me some few days ago on WhatsApp. Please read and we’ll appreciate if you can share your thoughts on this interview with others.

INTERVIEWER: Why are blacks so behind economically?

JEWISH LEADER: The only aspect blacks understand is Consumption. Blacks don’t understand the importance of building wealth. The fundamental rule is to keep your money within your racial group. We build Jewish business, hire Jewish, buy Jewish and spend Jewish. There is nothing wrong with that but it is a basic rule blacks cannot comprehend and follow. “He kills his fellow blacks daily instead of wanting to see his fellow blacks do well” 93% of blacks killed in America are by other blacks. Their leaders steal from their people and send the money back to their colonial master from whom they borrow the same money from. Every successful black want to spend his money in the country of his colonial Masters. They go on holiday abroad, buy houses abroad, school abroad etc. instead of spending this money in their own country to benefit their people. Statistics show that the Jew’s money exchanges hands 18 times before leaving his community while for blacks it is probably a maximum of once or even zero. Only 6% of black money goes back into their community. This is why Jews are at the top and blacks are at the bottom of every ladder of society. Instead of buying Louis Vuitton, Hermes, expensive cars, shoes, houses, dresses etc, blacks could industrialize Africa, build banks and get rid of colonial institutions by putting them out of business.

INTERVIEWER: Your thoughts on failure of blacks after 150 years?

JEWISH LEADER: Well, nothing is ever the Blackman’s fault. His compulsive habit of killing his own, compulsive material consumption, his inability to build business or preserve wealth are usually somebody else’s fault.

INTERVIEWER: So what can blacks do to liberate themselves?

JEWISH LEADER: Blacks must take responsibility. Blacks must unite and vehemently fight corrupt leaders who run down their country and run to IMF as though IMF is Father Christmas.

 END OF INTERVIEW
Please forward this until it goes round Africa & particularly to our parasitic leaders. We all need to learn our lessons quick and build our African Nations.

Life sometimes is like football. If you are the goalkeeper and a goal is about to be scored, you will do everything to catch the ball to prevent it from entering the net; because if you don’t, it is going to be against you. Life comes with different good opportunities depending on what you are supposed to do and also, depending on being in the right place at the right time. The goalkeeper has to be at the right place (goal post) at the right time (time when the ball is approaching the net). The players are not left out too, because whoever has the ball, would like to use that same opportunity to score a goal. Our destinies have already been outlined for us, fashioned in a way that one event lead to another for us to achieve what we are called to fulfill. And these events present themselves as opportunities for them to occur. Anyone who is in tune with the spirit will know when to grab an opportunity that will help him achieve his goals.

1. My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her.

2. My son, a woman could be a good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go.

3. My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office.

4. My son, if I tell you that you’re the head of the house, don’t look at your pocket; look if you will see a smile on your wife’s face.

5. My son, if you want to have a long life, let your wife be in-charge of your salary, it will be difficult for her to spend it when she’s aware of the home needs and bills to pay but if it’s in your care, she will keep you asking even when all has been spent.

These days, men always say it is hard to find a Christian girl to date or marry. The girls also say the same thing "husbands are scarce". And I ask myself, “Have they taken the place of fuel?” I was having an interaction with some ladies and I asked them the type of men they wish to marry. They all had different views. Some said they would love God fearing men, some others rich and handsome men and some others said they would prefer tall, muscular and smart guys. I asked some guys what they think about Christian girls. They said they are hard to find, and even the ones you will see around are all fake and desperate.

But i hear couples chuckle about how they met their partners through God's revelations, dreams, and pastor’s confirmation or through church activities. The Bible says “He that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from God.” It means that your partner is not someone you see just anywhere. Nobody is saying it will be hard before you find your spouse, but you will have to look beyond the distractions and noise out there for you to listen to that one voice and that is the hard part.

Sometimes God take some people out of your life and instead of figuring out how to put them back, you need to trust God that he is taking you to another level. The wider the heart get opened, the tighter the eyes get close; when the heart become a little tighter and the eyes get open, you will realize that you have been in a messed up emotional situation. They don’t prepare you for marriage in school. So you can be a CEO in every other thing, know your Bible, quote the scriptures and still not know your partner. Two people from different background, they might look same but they still bring dynamism into the relationship culturally, economically, socially and otherwise. They make it difficult for the union to be as tight, cohesive and effective and it is supposed to be.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness. Fellowship (fellows in a ship); they are not there to cruise; they have to row together in the same rhythm. And you cannot have the same rhythm if you are not hearing the same beat. Communication has to be paramount; you have to listen twice as much as you talk.

Farmers and merchants of tomato in Katsina State are seriously affected by glut of the produce in recent weeks, forcing its price to crash with few buyers in sight.
Although its perishable nature and lack of processing industries usually make tomato farmers experience glut at least once in a year, this year seems to be the worst, according to the farmers.

Hamza Tsalha, a tomato farmer in Mairuwa, Faskari local government area, said the situation is very disturbing as they are recording loses daily in the past three weeks.
“We are really in a sorry state going by what is happening in tomato markets in recent weeks. Many of us have converted the proceeds of our rainy season farming to irrigation and now we lost everything. Our tomato is fresh and healthy this year as we recorded no pest attack but the problem is the glut which makes its price to drop to N300 from N5, 000 per big basket,” said Hamza.
He further attributed the unfortunate situation to the influx of many farmers into tomato farming in the state this year.

Married or single, Nigerian men do not know the definition of the word "No". In fact when they hear the word it makes them try even harder to turn the no into a yes. Take for example as a copper, at my PPA (Primary Place of Assignment for all you non-corpers), one doctor has made it clear that he has cheated on his wife before and presented me with the opportunity to be the next mistress. As disgusted as I am by his adulterous intentions, if I want to stay in good graces with the hope of being retained after my service year, then I must continue to smile at him and laugh at his stupid jokes. Maneuvering an alpha male-dominated society is no easy task.

Even walking down a street can be treacherous terrain. Men grab your arm and as you violently shake them off, they laugh and move along to the next fine babe/gal/sweetheart. Sometimes they will follow you into the cab even after you've said no to giving them your number. The only option at that point is to lie, "I no get phone" which they typically do not believe since I have an unfortunate American accent which apparently equates to having plenty dollars. When that lie does not work, then I go for "my boyfriend wouldn't like that" to which they typically respond "So what, we can still be friends" or the badder guys will puff up their chests and ask "Weytin concern me?".The last resort is to tell them that if its God's will for us to see again, then we will see. That one typically gets them to leave me alone...afterall who can argue against God's will?

If the guy is a friend of a friend or insists that you give him your number because he gave you a free ride or he bought you a snack, that is when you pull out a fake number. I typically just switch the last two digits in my actual phone number, that way if I ever see him again and he cries about me giving him the wrong contact, then I can look at the number I gave him and say 'noooo, the number is correct, see you just switched the last two digits ah ahn!'

There are so many variations of my own experiences out there, comment below about how you navigated a situation where "No" did not mean "No" to a Nigerian man.

Watch and be amazed

The NYSC bio-metric clearance of Corp members is an initiative that is meant to ensure that Corp members are physically around in person. So far it is said that the process takes place only in Abuja ( at least for now). The Bio-metrics was meant to make things easy for both corp members and NYSC officials however the process is very dis-organised and it ends up taking longer than it should. It gets rowdy, coppers start throwing chairs, and forcing their way into the hall.
Coming early doesn't guarantee your getting cleared on time. The bio-metric clearance was supposed to take place from 1st- 10th of February 2016. However, the process has been indefinitely suspended until further notice. Videos from day one and two are attached to this article. Watch and be amazed. Comment and let us know what you think about the bio-metric process.

When you see this you will never eat already prepared chicken.

It has come to the notice of consumer health experts that a lot of already prepared chicken are not healthy for consumption. They are inflated with injections that make them bloated and bigger in size. This is done to maximize profit for the sellers. The public is advised to be careful how they purchase already made chicken. If possible prepare your chicken your self it is better and safer.
