MMM On A Mannequin Challenge.

MMM Nigeria
The money-box scheme called MMM that started in Russia was introduced to Nigerians via  MMM Nigeria when the country was said to be at the peak of what many described as the worst recession in Nigeria's economic history. The economic hardship and the urge to get rich quick made a lot of Nigerians to rush into it and welcomed MMM as their only way to carter for themselves in a time where the exchange rates were hitting the roofs; hence most people failed to ask themselves some very important questions.

Has anybody ever "Received Help" or  money except they first "Provided Help" or paid some money? If you have to give help to get help then,
Question 1:  To WHO did the first set of MMM subscribers provide help to?
Question 2:  Where does the 30% Return on Investment come from?
Question 3:  What will happen when the requested help outweighs the available help?
Question 4:  What is the history of MMM and has it failed before?
Question 5:  Is MMM being regulated by any financial regulatory board, body, or institution?

These were some of the questions that people should ask or should have asked before committing any fund into the scheme but no, people jumped into it in their numbers and started giving and receiving help. People received 30% extra of any amount they give after a thirty days period without asking where the extra is coming from, bonuses were also given and nobody asks any question.
Now it seems like the pyramid is reversing or has "crashed" and there is no help for the needy. MMM was termed as "the only way out of recession" by its many subscribers but it might seem that the acclaimed "ever present help" has deserted its Nigerian followers just when most of them have drawn-up their shopping list and are waiting for MMM to match them with their "helper" to make their Christmas preparations complete. Only for them to wake up on the 13th of December 2016 to find out that their dearest MMM has gone on what most people have termed a thirty days "MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE".

If the "MMM MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE" continues for the proposed thirty days period, then there will be no food on the tables of many Nigerian families this Christmas, that is for those who see MMM as their last resort and for those that invested their savings in MMM. Also, MMM will end up entering the Guinness Book of Records for the longest Mannequin Challenge. Another fear that I have is that if it persist and people don't get their money back; which is very unlikely that they will, there might be cases of people going mad or attempting/committing suicide.

However, the details are still sketchy and its too early to say that the money making medium as many have termed it has crashed. Lets just wait and see because, IT IS STILL UNFOLDING!
